High desert boulders and scrub running out toward a long ridgeline

The creative part of you wants tending.

I'm Carlos, and this is Bokeh Bushido. Something in you makes things. These videos are about how to feed that part, whether you've been at it for years or you set it down a long time ago. Every video comes with a worksheet you can sit down with when you're ready for it.

The companion worksheet

Every video comes with one.

The worksheet is a quiet place to slow down and notice what the video may be touching in you. There's nothing to fix and nothing to finish. Tell me where to send it and the newest one is on its way.

Who's making this

Hi, I'm Carlos.

I put my own creative work down for years and had a good reason ready every time someone asked. Underneath the reasons was a quieter belief that the work wasn't mine to do anymore.

I'm a licensed clinical counselor in Los Angeles. For over twenty years I've sat with people carrying some version of that same belief, and I've watched what happens when it finally loosens. Bokeh Bushido is where I put what I've learned from those rooms and from my own.

More about the work

The membership

There's a room behind the videos.

Every public video has a place it stops. The deeper dive picks up there, and it only goes out to members. Midweek there's another video, usually part of a series I'm working through.

The app also holds P.L.A.Y., the practice I built for the days motivation won't carry you, and a feed of people doing this same work. You decide how much of yours you put in front of them.

The door is the YouTube channel membership. Join there and the app opens for you.
